"It was a good stay for one month. The staffs are nice except some staffs, clean hotel, good breakfast, very decent according to the price, have overall construction or upgradation work throughout weeks, a little bit noisy for that. But it was good overall. Btw they will charge you security deposit of 10 euro for fan in summer, and city tax 3.5 euro per night."

"This is the umpteenth time I've stayed here. The location of the hotel is pretty good, and it's convenient for parking. There are supermarkets and restaurants across the street. It would be even better if there was a gym."

"The location is very good, as it is not in the city but also not too far from it. The cinema is not far away either. The breakfast is sufficient and there is something for everyone. The room is nice and well equipped, but unfortunately there is no closet where you can store your suitcase. But that's not really a problem, there is a wardrobe or something similar with coat hangers. In the bathroom you will find a hairdryer, hygiene bags, tissues and shampoo with shower gel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are enough parking spaces next to the hotel and nearby."

"A nice hotel near Bahnhof of Karlsruhe, the rooms are nice and clean, you have everything you need in your room, complimentary water waits in the room. You have a kettle to make coffee and tea. The bathroom was clean as well, the shower was spacious. The bed was clean including pillows and mattress. Pillow and blanket were thick and cozy to sleep on.
Near the hotel you have parking free of charge after 8 p.m until 8 a.m from Monday to Friday. Free of charge the whole day on the weekends.
You have inside the Bahnhof building bakeries, subway and McDonald. And a very nice vegan spot for porridge that is made fresh for you, the price is better than the bakery which was very overpriced.
A tram station is very close ( when you come out of the hotel on your right as well as the bahnhof) , you can reach any further destination you need."

"The station is right in front of the hotel, and it's about a 10-minute walk to the central station.
The rooms are clean.
The front desk has coffee service in the morning, which was nice.
The bathroom also had a bathtub!
The shower glass partition sometimes let a little water out, so it might not be suitable for families with children."

The location of this hotel is really good, super close to Metro and many landmarks and market. The big big plus of this hotel is that they even give you all the things include minibar for free. TTaDunicornThe spa area was very nice and very friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was exceptionally furnished and there were enough rooms. Unfortunately, the service force in the breakfast room appeared a bit upset and has their own ideas of who should sit where to keep their paths as short as possible. Humanly understandable, but in such a house at the service not very happy.

LLong Tran 런 찬It locates near the metro but its a bit disappointed that you would have to carry your big suitcase on your own before entering the hotel via stairs. :) The staff is very friendly. The breakfast buffet is enough good for me.

FFortiswongVery large room and with all facilities you need. There is a supermarket nearby where you can get all food and drinks. Taxis from train station is only ECU 8- , some driver may not like to go for such short distance and teach/ ask you to take the tram. A beautiful peaceful small town to relax.

SSUSAN TOMIf we could give this hotel a review of 10/5 we would. We stayed for an extended time (16 days) and during that time we experienced the best and friendliest service.
The reception staff was always friendly and cheerful. Everyone was ready to help with any question we had.
Breakfast was amazing. The selection was terrific. And every morning we were greeted by the pleasant and happy staff. One staff member told me she loves her job. Who doesn't want to stay in a hotel where the staff love working? Several days my mother who travelled with me was ill and the staff made it so easy for me to take breakfast to her in the room.
The room was terrific. We requested the accessible room and were not disappointed. Despite Ettlingen not being the most wheelchair friendly, Stadthotel Engel had every accessibility need addressed. The front entrance has no stairs. They have an elevator that stops at the breakfast room level. The bathroom in our room was wheelchair friendly with a raised toilet, fully accessible shower, and vanity that could accommodate a wheelchair underneath. We did not have a wheelchair but my mother has a walker which requires many of the same accommodations. The room has air conditioning for those who are concerned about that.
The location is amazing. From the hotel you are directly in the old city and can walk to many stores, cafes, and restaurants. The hotel entrance is located in an inside court area where there are tables that can be enjoyed during the nice weather.

GGuest UserVery nice hotel, super modern. Check-in took a long time, the line was already quite long before a second person finally came to the reception. Later in the evening we bought a bottle of water downstairs - 6 euros for 1 liter of still water, sorry, it's just too expensive - then took it to our room and discovered that there weren't even any glasses in the room. So in my opinion two glasses are part of the basic equipment and a bottle of water too.

GGuest UserLocation is Uber central. It is infact quite excellently situated. Staff are superb. Very friendly and helpful indeed. The price was very good, and based on that - the value is about as good as it gets in Germany. Room contained a desk, chair, TV, longer chair, bed side lamp, reading lamp, multiple outlets, 2x towel, 1x bath mat and complimentary shampoo soap at the sink and shower. There were multiple radiators at your disposal and tissue paper and bathroom paper. The single room was a good sized with a large window. Everything was clean. There was a place to store bicycles or indeed borrow those offered. Breakfast was available though I didn't try. There is also an elevator. Again...for the price paid it is deserving of 5/5.

The front desk is very serious, after check-in will be very detailed introduction to the network, the matters needing attention around the hotel and so on. The hotel is about 5 minutes' walk from hbf, so the traffic is very convenient. The only problem comes from the surrounding environment of the hotel. The hbf neighborhood is notoriously messy. Be careful of thieves and those who fly the leaves when you go out, especially during the epidemic. But the hotel is very quiet and safe.
